IMPORTANT - Lexington 4 will extend the current A/B hybrid instructional schedule for all hybrid students (4K-12) through January 22.
Within our COVID-19 Flexible Response Plan, the district has identified specific thresholds to ensure we have the necessary staff available to supervise, feed, and transport students as part of a safe learning environment within a given instructional schedule (virtual, hybrid, 4-day).
In accordance with our plan, all Hybrid Instructional Program students (4K-12) will continue A/B hybrid next week:
- Tuesday, January 19: B-day students attend on-campus
- Wednesday, January 20: A-day students attend on-campus
- Thursday, January 21: B-day students attend on-campus
- Friday, January 22: remains a virtual learning day for all students except those in special populations
The district is closed on Monday, January 18, in observance of Martin Luther King Day.
Virtual Program students will continue virtual learning as scheduled.
NOTE - The district continues to monitor and manage staff availability due to COVID-19. Currently, district thresholds within our Flexible Response Plan require the continuation of the A/B hybrid instructional schedule. Additional changes to the instructional schedule may be necessary if conditions warrant including a further extension of the A/B hybrid schedule. The district’s goal is to return to a 4-day schedule for all hybrid students as soon as it is safe to do so.
Should any further changes to the current instructional schedule be needed, we will communicate these to families as soon as possible via email, text alert, and the district web page.
