Students were given different scenarios and experienced purchasing several different life necessities to balance their budget. Thank you to Dr. Brown for organizing this experience!

The Swansea Freshman Academy travelled to Myrtle Beach this weekend to complete in the SC State Beta Convention! We are so proud of these students as they used their talents to lead, learn, serve and excel. Congratulations again to Bella Johnson who placed 1st in 9th grade US History and is eligible to compete at Nationals this summer in Orlando!

On Wednesday of last week, Dr. Brown, our Personal Finance teacher, received a $1000 grant for instructional materials through USC and Colonial Life that will promote interactive opportunities for students! Dr. Brown voluntarily went through an extensive grant writing process to receive such a honor! Can't wait to see the materials put into action!
