The 2023 Swansea Homecoming Parade will take place this Friday at 5:30 p.m. We hope to see you there! The parade route begins at Doug Bennett Stadium, travels down to Highway 321, then back up Highway 6, and ends at the student parking lot.

To celebrate Homecoming in Lexington 4, schools will be collecting canned goods to donate to a local food pantry. Help The Swansea Freshman Academy beat Sandhills Elementary, Frances Mack Intermediate, Sandhills Middle School, and Swansea High School by bringing in cans of food. A box will be set up in the front office for students to drop off their donations. (Betas will be in charge of boxing up donations for collection.) The winning school will be announced at the Homecoming football game next Friday. Go Tigers!!!!
Betas will earn 1 service hour per 5 items.

CSX is closing the following railroad crossings in Gaston and Swansea on Tuesday, Sept 5, 2023 starting at 9am. The crossings will reopen on Fri, Sept 8th at 5pm, except for North 2nd Street which will reopen on September 7, so IW Hutto can then close because these two areas are detours for each other.
