Congratulations to our Students of the Quarter! These students were selected by their teachers for best representing our 2nd Habit of Learning: Prepared. These are students who consistently use classroom materials appropriately and show they are ready to work and learn by using their whole-body listening skills.

Next week we will be celebrating Swansea High School's Homecoming! Every school in the district will be participating and celebrating along with us.

This Friday, September 27th is the last day to turn in forms and payment for an ECC shirt! We accept cash or check (made out to the ECC) as payment. If you need another form, reach out to your child's teacher or the front office! We love seeing our Early Risers in their ECC gear!

Students in Ms. Erin's room had their first mystery reader this week! None other than our SRO Deputy Barnes! What a treat for these kiddos!!
We found the two brightest colored staff members today! Ms. Hamilton and Ms. Skinner were as bright as the sun!

ECC Early Risers will be having our first spirit week next week! With September being Attendance Awareness Month we wanted to celebrate "Being Present" with themed days to encourage being present at the ECC. Check out our themed days for next week! It's sure to be a fun-filled week!

September is Attendance Awareness Month at the ECC! This school year, we will have monthly attendance challenges to encourage and celebrate perfect attendance! Developing positive school attendance routines starts here and we are excited to celebrate our students and their families through this initiative. 3K Parents & Guardians,
The time is here, and we are so excited for our 3K students to join us here at school! After you drop off your child in their classroom on Tuesday, please stop by the yellow hallway to pick up a treat and have a brief meet and greet with school staff! We will celebrate College Colors Day at the ECC on Friday, August 30th! Wear the colors of your favorite college team or the college you wish to attend when you grow up. We can't wait to see everyone's colors next Friday!
On Friday, August 3rd all Lexington 4 schools gathered at the Swansea High School Performing Arts Center to celebrate the start of a new school year. Each school recognized their Support Staff Member of the Year and Teacher of the Year. We are proud to have Shandon Hook as our Support Staff Member of the Year and Miranda Grice as our Teacher of the Year!
