This week Ms. Hull's Computer lab students got introduced to our Sphero Robots!
Students used Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math to successfully construct obstacles and navigate their robots through the obstacles. Lots of problem solving took place, and students enjoyed getting to put all of their skills to use!

This week The Village celebrated Black History Month with a Spirit Week.
We saw Colorful Displays - from traditional Red, Green, Yellow, and Black to neon, held collegiate day where students sported their favorite university wear, and even saw some inspirationally themed outfits like Ruby Bridges, Michael Jackson and Jackie Robinson. Thank you for celebrating with us! It takes The Village!

These students have worked extremely hard to reach goals. They are Soaring to Success, and we are so proud of them!!

Run Hard is coming to SES:
Registration is from February 1st to March 8th and spots are limited!

Students in Ms. Eustace’s science classes explored energy transfer through the use and application of circuits. Students had to create a closed circuit using the energy from a battery to light a small lightbulb. Some students were able to extend their learning by using more materials and learned about the importance of positive and negative charges.
Way to go buddies!

From Muffins with Moms to Faculty Fish Fry with Admin. It was a busy week at the SES Village!

ONE MORE DAY

During the month of February, the SES Beta Club is collecting old, used crayons for The Crayon Initiative, a nonprofit organization that remanufactures the crayons and gives them to children in the hospital. We are asking our students and families to help support our project by donating your old crayons! The class that collects the most crayons will get a special prize!
Please send your crayon donations to school by Friday, March 1st. Thank you for supporting the SES Beta Club and this amazing cause!

We would like to present our 2023-2024 yearbook cover and remind you Yearbooks are on sale until March 29th. Cost is $20 and very few extras will be ordered - so grab them while you can!

Please help us congratulate our Teacher of the Week : Ms. Whitman!
