The graduation ceremony will be live streamed and recorded for family members and friends unable to attend. 

Following the most recent weather forecast from the National Weather Service, Swansea High School’s Graduation Ceremony has been relocated to the Performing Arts Center (PAC) due to expected inclement weather.

The ceremony will take place at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025 in the Lexington Four Performing Arts Center located on 500 East 1st Street, Swansea, 29160. Please carefully review the details below regarding parking, entry, seating, and other important guidelines.

Graduation Ceremony and Entry Information

• The Performing Arts Center (PAC) doors will open one hour before the ceremony, at 7:00 a.m.

• Each graduate has been issued five (5) tickets for guests to enter the PAC auditorium.

• Only guests with an official 2025 SHS Graduation Purple Ticket will be allowed entry into the facility.

• A clear bag policy is in effect for all attendees.

• Posters and balloons are not permitted.

Parking Information

• Parking lots will open at 7:00 a.m.

• Families, including the graduate, are encouraged to carpool in a single vehicle to help maximize available parking.

• Designated parking areas:

  • Lot 2: SHS Student Parking Lot

  • Lot 3: SHS Bus Parking Lot

• Vehicles must follow directions from on-site flagmen and park in the assigned spaces.

• Handicap parking is available; a valid handicap placard must be displayed in the front window.

• Overflow parking will be available in Lot 4 on Redmond Mill Rd. near the SHS Football Stadium, with shuttle bus transportation provided as needed.

Entrance to the PAC

• Guests may enter the building from Swansea High School Lot 2 and Lot 3.

• Once tickets are validated, guests may proceed to the seating area.

• Restrooms are located in the PAC foyer and gym foyer areas.

• Only ticketed guests will be permitted to enter the building.

Seating Guidelines

• Seating is first-come, first-served.

• Guests are encouraged to sit together upon entering the auditorium.

• Saving or holding seats is not permitted.

• Seating Assistants will be available to help direct families to available seats.

• Please be respectful of limited seating capacity to ensure every graduate’s guests have an opportunity to be seated.

Exit Procedures

• At the conclusion of the ceremony, guests are asked to remain seated until all graduates have exited.

• Families can reunite with graduates in the SHS student parking lot areas.

Additional Notes

• A nurse will be stationed in the PAC foyer (Training Room) for any medical needs.

• If medical assistance is required, please notify a staff member wearing a purple vest.

• Again, only guests with an official 2025 SHS Graduation Ticket will be allowed to enter.

• Reentry is prohibited. [ Don't forget your belongings! :) ]

• A link to the live stream of graduation will be posted on this page 1 hour prior to graduation.

• The graduation video will be uploaded to youtube following graduation.
