SMS and SHS Volleyball Tryouts will be held on August 5th and 6th from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM in the SHS Gym. All athletes must attend both days of tryouts to be considered for the team.

Participants must have a current sports physical dated after April 1, 2025 in order to try out.

Swansea High School invites all rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors to our Back-to-School Meet the Teacher Night in the SHS Gym!

🟣 Schedule:
• Sophomores: 1:00 PM – 2:40 PM
• Juniors: 2:40 PM – 4:20 PM
• Seniors: 4:20 PM – 6:00 PM

During this event, students and families will have the opportunity to:
✅ Meet teachers, staff, and administrators
✅ Pick up course schedules
✅ Get information on bus transportation, school fees, student IDs, parking decals, and more
✅ Receive logins/passwords, PowerSchool Parent Portal details
✅ Review important documents including:
• SC Graduation Requirements
• Free to Focus Cell Phone Policy
• Dress Code Policy
• Clear Bag Policy
• Attendance Policy
• Tardy Policy

Swansea High School will host Baccalaureate Services for the Class of 2025 on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Lexington Four Performing Arts Center. These state-required assessments are essential for earning course credit and help measure student mastery in key subject areas. **EOC Testing Dates:** - English 2 Writing – Thursday, May 1 st - English 2 Reading – Tuesday, May 6th - Biology 1 – Tuesday, May 13th - US History – Wednesday, May 14th - Algebra 1 – Thursday, May 15th Please make sure your student is present, on time, and that their school-issued device is fully charged each day of testing.
