🎓 Swansea High School Graduation 2026
Guidelines and Information for Parents
Date and Location: Friday, May 29, 2026 at 8 A.M. at Doug Bennett Stadium
🚗 Parking
Gates open at 6:45 A.M. Graduates and guests are encouraged to ride in the same vehicle.
Guests enter at Lot 4 (Entrance Closest to Lexington Four District Office), then Lot 3 (Bus Parking Lot), then Lot 2 (SHS Student Parking Lot).
Handicap parking and Golf Cart/Bus Shuttles will be available for assistance.
Lexington Four personnel will help direct traffic to designated parking spots. Handicap parking will be available for those who have handicap placards in their cars.
Golf cart shuttles (8) will be available for those who need assistance. Shuttle Buses (4) will be available as well to help expedite entry into Doug Bennett Stadium.
🏟️ Entrances
Gate 1: Seating for HOME or VISITOR sides.
Gate 2: Seating for HOME side only.
Gate 3: Seating for VISITOR side and Handicap parking.
Gate 4: Seating for VISITOR/Canteen side and Shuttle drop-off.
Water will be available to all guests at the stadium.
🪑 Seating
Guests may sit on either the Home or Visitor side.
Seating attendants will be available to help
🚪 Exits
Please remain seated until the end of the ceremony.
Attendants will dismiss sections once students have exited the field.
Meet graduates in the parking lot area at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Shuttles will be available to take guests back to their parking area at the end of the ceremony
ℹ️ Additional Information
🚻 Bathrooms: Located at the canteen building near Redmond Mill road.
🩺 Nurses: Stationed on both the HOME and VISITOR sides for medical needs.
👜 Clear Bag Policy: Strictly enforced. No bookbags, purses, or drawstring bags allowed.
🌐 Digital Access
Live Stream Commencement: The live broadcast of the ceremony will begin at 8:00 a.m.
Accessing the Link: The link to the live stream will be posted on the school’s update page at 7:00 a.m. (one hour prior to the ceremony).
Video Archive: A recorded version of the ceremony will be uploaded to YouTube following the event.

Purple: Gate entrances for families (Gate 4 is also overflow handicap parking only assigned by Lex4).
Blue: Directional arrows for walking to HOME side seating.
Yellow: HOME side seating.
Red: VISITOR side seating.
Burgundy: Procession of graduates entering the field.
Cream: Exit of graduates from the field.
Black: Stage Area.
Light Blue: Seating area for graduates.
Orange: Seating area for faculty.
