Welcome to Lexington School District Four's Educator Certification page! Please see the below links for the most current information and forms on the SC State Department's website in reference to your certification and renewal needs.

Certified educators should refer to the SCDE Renewal Credit Matrix to identify professional development options for earning certification renewal credits.  Educators must complete and submit the Lexington Four Certificate Renewal Approval Form to their principal to receive preliminary approval for desired professional development activities.  After completing the activity, educators should resubmit the completed form to their principal with documentation of the activity in order to have recertification credits awarded.

The educator is responsible to forward the signed approval form and all appropriate activity documentation to the Human Resources Office while maintaining a copy for their own records.  Please note that completed approval forms should be submitted within 30 days of the completion of the professional development activity.
