Keeping Learning Going—Even When School Buildings Are Closed
What Is An eLearning Day?
Lexington Four is approved by the SC Department of Education to use up to five eLearning days per school year. These days are used when in-person learning is disrupted, such as during inclement weather or utility outages. Students stay home and complete their learning remotely.
What Will Students Do?
All students in grades K–12 complete school work from home.
3K–5K (Early Childhood Center)
Families will receive developmentally appropriate choice menus ahead of time.Grades 1–12
Students will use district Chromebooks to complete assignments through Google Classroom.
No Internet At Home?
Students can complete work offline and it will sync when the device reconnects at school.
When Are Assignments Due?
Unless otherwise directed, assignments are due a few days after the eLearning Day. Students should bring their Chromebooks back to school as instructed.
How Will Attendance Be Taken?
Student attendance is based on logging into Google Classroom, completing assignments, or checking in with teachers.
Teacher Support & Schedule
Teachers are available during the school day to answer questions and support learning.
Some teachers may host live check-ins or post recorded lessons
